A collection of voices to collaborate and inform

I often wonder about the impact that any one individual can have on generating a shift in thinking and shaping innovative approaches to teaching and learning in the Early Years.

In my role as an education consultant, I often question how 'sustainable' or even 'influential' my work could be?  I believe that one voice is never enough, and I continue to stand by my ultimate aim, to impact others by creating a culture that promotes and values learning.  It is important that each school has a system in place that supports collaboration, a team approach that can continue to keep the candles burning after all of the initial work, the poking and provoking is done.

Hence, I am relying on the collective voices of all educators in the early years to contribute their thoughts and perspectives.  If we really support a culture that promotes and values learning, in unison we can make a difference.

This blog will present some of the most recent discussions that have taken place in schools, and I would encourage all educators to put that reflective hat on and share your thoughts and ideas.
